# Privacy Policy — Purrblock

Purrblock does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or browsing data.

## What Purrblock stores
Purrblock saves two pieces of information locally in your browser using the standard
`chrome.storage` API:

1. Your on/off preference for the extension.
2. A count of how many ad slots have been replaced with cat illustrations.

This information stays on your device. It is never uploaded, shared, or sold.

## What Purrblock does NOT do
- It has no account system and no server.
- It contains no analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind.
- It does not read, record, or transmit the pages you visit, your search history, your
  keystrokes, or any personal information.
- It does not sell or share data with third parties, because it collects none.

## Permissions
Purrblock requests the `declarativeNetRequest`, `storage`, and host permissions solely to
block ad-network requests and to replace ad containers with images on the pages you view.
These permissions are used only for the extension's stated purpose.
